Interwoven Added to Standard & Poor's U.S. Index

San Jose, Calif. - November 21, 2008 - Interwoven (NASDAQ: IWOV), a global leader in content management solutions, will be added to the Standard and Poor's (S&P) SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Friday, November 21.

The S&P Index Committee follows a set of published guidelines for maintaining the SmallCap 600 index. These guidelines include requiring the company be based in the U.S., have a minimum market capitalization of $250 million, and have four consecutive quarters of positive earnings.

In the third quarter of 2008, Interwoven recorded its 20th straight quarter of year-to-year revenue growth. And at market close on Thursday, November 20, 2008, Interwoven had a market capitalization of over $500 million.
