Interwoven DevNet Developer Community Breaks 25,000 Member Mark
DevNet Cements its Position as Leading Destination for Conversing, Creating and Collaborating on Website Development
San Jose, Calif. - November 10, 2008 - Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ: IWOV), a global leader in content management solutions, today announced that its DevNet developer community has surpassed the 25,000 membership mark. DevNet was created in 2001 to provide the global community of Interwoven developers and customers with a knowledge-sharing forum to exchange ideas with community peers, showcase skills, and gather new techniques and best practices to enhance Websites.
"The level of interaction among the DevNet community is unmatched by other developer networks," said Bill Klish, president of Klish Group Inc., a technology services and solutions company, who has been a DevNet member since 2002. "Membership is populated by people on the front lines - developers solving real problems. Responses come back quickly, which speeds up the process for building components that deliver engaging and compelling Websites for our clients. I challenge our developers to participate in the community, to leverage library articles and documentation, and engage in discussions of hot topics."
"Developers form the lifeblood of Website innovation, and DevNet is a vibrant community for sharing their ideas and fostering creativity," said Seth Rosenblatt, vice president of product marketing for Interwoven's Web solutions. "And 25K is just the start: as the Web solidifies its position as the center of business, the need for experienced Website developers will grow."
Also today, Interwoven announced a TeamSite SitePublisher Component Contest for DevNet members. For more information on the contest and DevNet visit www.interwoven.com/component_contest.
