DEVENTER CITY COUNCIL SELECTS AUTONOMY MERIDIO'S RECORDS MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

Achieves Cost Savings and Improves Operational Efficiency

Cambridge, UK and Belfast, NI. - February 11, 2008 - Meridio, an Autonomy company (LSE: AU. or AU.L) and the leading provider of Records Management software, today announced that the Deventer City Council has deployed its records management solution to securely store and manage the Council's more than 100,000 business records. Within a few weeks of implementing the Meridio solution, the Deventer City Council has improved its operational efficiency, while realizing significant cost savings of thousands of dollars. Deventer is a municipality and city in the Salland region of the Dutch province of Overijssel. The borough of Deventer consists of the city of Deventer, together with the villages of Diepenveen, Schalkhaar, Bathmen, Lettele and Okkenbroek.

The Deventer City Council recognized the need for an effective records management system at the beginning of 2006 to help manage the increasing volume of records that resulted from its growing population. The Meridio solution was implemented under the strict guidance of the Deventer Council Document Management Department to ensure that all incoming and outgoing documents are effectively and securely captured and stored in the Meridio system. Since the implementation, Meridio has enabled the Council to improve the quality of services that it provides to its internal customers and the general public. It has also delivered significant cost savings of thousands of dollars to the Council.

"The city of Deventer's population has drastically increased by 20 percent within the last five years. This has led to a significant increase in the number of government documents and records," said Henk Sligman, head of Document Management of the Deventer City Council. "Meridio provides us with the depth and breadth of eDRM capabilities that we need to effectively manage our documents. The solution's scalability and security are also unsurpassed. We are very pleased to see cost savings within just a few weeks of implementation."

"Many government agencies from around the world are struggling to deal with shrinking budgets, growing populations and high expectations for service delivery," said Brian Baird, CEO of Autonomy Meridio. "Meridio's records management solution helps to control an undermanaged resource - an organization's documents and business records. It allows these agencies to better meet regulatory compliance, while realizing cost savings and improvements in service delivery."
