AUTONOMY AWARDED "BEST GOVERNMENT SOLUTION" AND "BEST GOVERNMENT TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER"

DISTINGUISHED AWARDS BESTOWED FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - December 11, 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that it has received the "Best Government Solution" and the "Best Government Technology Provider" Awards at the Gartner Government IT Channel Vision: Government Edition, the only event of its kind focused on building partnerships in the federal IT channel and delivering the insights of the world-renowned Gartner analyst team. The awards recognize vendor excellence, innovation and leadership for technology products and services used by federal government agencies. Award winners are determined by attending Federal System Integrators.

"The more than 70 System Integrators in attendance review many products and services. We congratulate Autonomy on winning both the "Best Government Solution" and the "Best Government Technology Provider" Awards, which signify that the attendees viewed Autonomy as delivering a high level of excellence, innovation and leadership in its category," said Kimberly Becker, director for IT ChannelVision: Government Edition event.
