INA Deploys Meridio and SAP for Invoice Processing

Integration of Meridio and SAP R/3 significantly improves the processing of invoices at INA

Waltham MA, October 30, 2007 – Meridio, the leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records Management (eDRM) software engineered for Microsoft® .NET based technologies today announced that INA, the largest oil and gas company in Croatia located in Zagreb and operating in exploration, production, refining and marketing of oil products has expanded the use of its successful Meridio® eDRM system to integration with SAP R/3 and Kofax imaging to automate the capture, approval and processing of incoming invoices and associated documents.

The Meridio Archive Link is integrated with SAP R/3 and Kofax Ascent Capture to create an Invoice Processing and Archiving Solution that supports the invoice process from scanning to final invoice approval. The movement of paper documents is eliminated in the new system, and documents can be located by all of the 3000 INA SAP users immediately. INA operates the largest SAP implementation in Croatia and processes between 400,000 and 500,000 invoices per year.

"The Meridio system eliminates the movement and duplication of paper invoices in our system," said Josip Mance, Director of IT Solution Implementation Dept., INA. "The ability to access relevant unstructured content seamlessly from SAP optimizes user productivity delivering significant business benefits to INA. Meridio is a critical business system for INA and its use will be further expanded during 2007."

"INA's application of Meridio is world-class and demonstrates how strategic eDRM is becoming to business operations," said Nigel Hutchinson, Vice President EMEA Operations, Meridio. "The close relationship between Meridio our partner BCC and INA, have delivered a very successful solution combining document management and process improvement."
