AUTONOMY ETALK AWARDED FOR MARKET LEADERSHIP IN SPEECH ANALYTICS

Award Presented by Speech Technology Magazine during SpeechTEK 2007

Cambridge, UK and Dallas, TX. - September 12, 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Autonomy etalk was recognized as a Market Leader in speech analytics by Speech Technology Magazine. Autonomy etalk was presented with the Market Leader Award during SpeechTEK 2007 in New York.

The magazine's Speech Technology awards recognize speech technology companies that have developed leading speech technology solutions or services, and that have gained, or are significantly gaining, a strong market presence.

"Speech analytics is one of the fastest growing segments within the speech technology industry. And based on our panel of experts, companies serious about deploying speech analytics should put Autonomy etalk on their short list of vendors to consider," said David Myron, editorial director of Speech Technology magazine.

Autonomy etalk delivers contextual-based speech analytics to help businesses analyze their contact center interactions and retrieve relevant data for regulatory compliance, customer disputes, eDiscovery, and quality assurance. By analyzing recorded and in-progress interactions, Autonomy etalk's speech analytics delivers real-time information that can be used to improve customer service, operational performance, and strategic business programs.

Autonomy etalk employs a unique combination of technologies that enable computers to form a human-like under¬standing of unstructured information. The Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) forms both a conceptual and contextual understanding of unstructured data, allowing word/phrase-based searches, conceptual searches, two-dimensional trend analysis, sentiment analysis, and script adherence matches. This allows the user to see patterns in agent and customer behavior, identify service problems, and tag competitive threats.

"We are honored to be recognized for our contributions to the speech industry, especially with the growing need for speech analytics in the contact center," said Scott Shute, Autonomy etalk's chief executive officer. "Autonomy etalk is committed to developing technology that not only meets the high demand for speech solutions, but that delivers real value to the business."

Speech analytics is a critical component in the Intelligent Contact Center. With the ability to deliver multi-channel interaction analysis and real-time agent support, Autonomy etalk's voice processing and analysis capabilities enable global and multi-site contact centers to manage, understand, and share their critical contact center interactions.

The Speech Technology Awards are detailed in the September issue of Speech Technology Magazine. For more information on Autonomy etalk's speech analytics technology, please visit www.etalk.com.
