Meridio and Inmeta are working to achieve Noark Certification

Meridio partner Inmeta committed to support of the Noark-5 Standard

Belfast NI, Oslo Norway, June 27, 2007 – Meridio, the leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records Management (eDRM) software engineered for Microsoft® .NET based technologies and Inmeta, a leading market supplier dedicated to optimization of acquisitions of license agreements to international corporate customers, announced today that Inmeta has launched inmeta Noark for Meridio (iNforM). iNforM is a Meridio® eDRM based solution designed to meet the Noark Records Management Standard.

The Noark standard has set the requirements for Records Management in the public sector in Norway since the mid 1980's. The standard is in the process of being updated to its 5th revision. Noark-5 embraces other standard initiatives including MoReq2. Meridio is committed to industry standards around Records Management and is a supporter of the MoReq2 standard.

"Noark 5 is important to the public sector in Norway, as it updates the standard to take into consideration both international standards bodies such as Moreq2, and new forms of electronic communication such as email," said Oistein Kvarme, Sales Director for Inmeta. "Developing iNforM based on Meridio compliance to Noark-5 will extend Noark and Government to operate on the Microsoft .NET Framework."
