ZANTAZ POSITIONED IN THE VISIONARIES QUADRANT OF 2007 EMAIL ACTIVE ARCHIVING MAGIC QUADRANT
PLEASANTON, Calif. - May 29, 2007 - ZANTAZ, Inc., the global leader in content archiving and electronic discovery solutions, today announced that ZANTAZ is positioned in the Visionaries quadrant of Gartner Inc.'s 2007 E-mail Active Archiving Magic Quadrant report. The report, titled "Magic Quadrant for E-Mail Active Archiving, 2007," examines email archiving products with the scalability and functionality to support thousands of users within enterprise environments and was published May 16th. It was written by Gartner Research Vice Presidents Carolyn DiCenzo and Kenneth Chin and can be accessed at http://www.zantaz.com/zantaz-analyst-reports.
According to Gartner, the leading research and advisory firm with more than 60,000 clients, the 2006 worldwide email active archiving market was $207 million in new software license revenue, an increase of 42.8 percent over 2005. The market is expected to grow to $1.0 billion by 2011. For the Magic Quadrant report, Gartner's evaluation criteria included the company's vision, ability to execute, which include market understanding, sales strategy, innovation, business model, market responsiveness, track record, and customer service experience.
"Yesterday companies focused on storing digital content in a way that minimized storage costs. Today organizations are equally focused on how to best manage information risk, and quickly and reliably produce digital content for discovery," said Steve King, president and CEO at ZANTAZ. "The best solution is a single-vendor archiving and discovery product suite such as the one ZANTAZ offers today."
King continues, "We see being placed in the Visionaries Quadrant for E-mail Active Archiving as continued validation of our single-vendor strategy. In addition, with both onsite software and proven on-demand solutions to choose from, ZANTAZ gives organizations the ability to deploy the archiving and discovery platform that best meets their strategic, technical, and financial requirements."
ZANTAZ solutions for centralized, scalable email and file management, archiving, and retrieval reduce storage costs, support regulatory compliance initiatives, prepare companies for quick and painless responses to electronic discovery requests, and make business users more productive by ensuring they have access to the information they need. ZANTAZ solutions can reduce email storage costs by up to 80 percent, and ZANTAZ is the only solution provider to offer the choice of an on-demand service, onsite software, or a combination of the two approaches.
