BT SELECTS AUTONOMY FOR SEARCH APPLICATIONS

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - April 24 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise and proponent of meaning-based computing, today announced that BT has selected Autonomy technology for a number of search applications. BT had not previously used Autonomy technology, but in the past had licensed products from Verity, Inc., which Autonomy acquired in December 2005.
