Interwoven Appoints Roger Sippl to Board of Directors

Software Industry Veteran Strengthens Operational and Strategic Talent of Board of Directors

San Jose, Calif., - April 23, 2007 - Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ: IWOV), a global leader in content management solutions, today announced the appointment of Roger Sippl to the Interwoven Board of Directors. Mr. Sippl, who has over 30 years of experience in building and managing enterprise software companies, will focus his time on helping Interwoven continue to expand its leading role in the content management market.

Sippl is a founding partner of Sippl MacDonald Ventures, a private venture capital partnership providing investment and management support to early stage and emerging software companies. Previously Sippl was founder and CEO of Informix Software, co-founder of The Vantive Corporation and was founder and CEO of Visigenic Software. Sippl has also served on the board of directors of Informix Software, The Vantive Corporation, and SupportSoft.
