Debuts Automatic Copyright Infringement Detection Solution

Las Vegas, Calif. - April 16, 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that it will be showcasing a number of its Virage solutions, including its recently announced Automatic Copyright Infringement Detection (ACID) solution at the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) event in Las Vegas from April 16 to 19, 2007.

Virage ACID

Virage Broadcast Monitoring
A real-time monitoring and content management solution that combines automated scheduling, analysis and encoding of incoming broadcast content. It greatly reduces the resources traditionally required to monitor multiple broadcast streams and therefore generates significant ROI for customers such as France 2 and Media Monitors Australia.

Time-synchronized to every encoded copy made, the index enables immediate, accurate search and retrieval of assets.
Virage IPTV and Video Search
Virage IPTV Suite streamlines the process of making television and video content available over the Internet, benefiting broadcasters in terms of enhanced flexibility and reduced costs while enriching the consumer experience by allowing them the unprecedented freedom to create their "own" TV.
In addition, Virage will also be demonstrating customer implementations of Virage technology, including blinkx.
