The combination of these two best-in-class vendors will deliver a ground-breaking day and night video surveillance solution to protect critical infrastructure such as ports, airports and energy installations. With its ability to automate perimeter surveillance in zero visible light at a range greater than one mile, this new offering will enable security vendors to ensure proactive security and reduce false alarms even in total darkness. Virage's Intelligent Scene Analysis System (iSAS) is a sophisticated tool to automate the detection of potential threats, such as bags left too long or suspicious behavior, as well as predicting possibly hazardous situations such as gathering crowds.
