VIRAGE DELIVERS NEXT-GENERATION GATED SECURITY WITH PARTNER COGO

Virage Security and Surveillance Enters Global Partnership With Gated Community Security Specialists the Cogo Group

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - March. 28, 2007 - Virage, a wholly owned subsidiary of Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L) and leader in intelligent video analytics, today announced that it has been selected as the preferred vendor of advanced security technologies by specialist, Cogo Group Ltd. Cogo will integrate Virage's advanced analytic technology into its security offerings for gated communities around the world, as well as other high-level customers and property developers. Using Virage, Cogo will deliver state-of-the-art, automated solutions to secure its portfolio of prestigious multi-million dollar properties, without infringing on the daily lives of its clients.

A world-leader in intelligent video analytics, Virage Security and Surveillance offers a broad product suite that delivers proactive security operations in any environment. Cogo will use Virage's Digital Video Recording (DVR), Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) and Intelligent Scene Analysis System (iSAS) applications to automate perimeter monitoring for gated communities around the world. By analyzing the content of video and audio streams, Virage can recognize any potential security threat and automatically alert security personnel to dangerous activities as they happen. Using Virage, Cogo will be able to protect people from potential threats by automating proactive surveillance without intruding on their clients using manual forms of surveillance such as security guards.

"We deliver to gated communities where security is vital, but people don't want to have to be aware that they are under surveillance," commented, Rob Lenihan, director, the Cogo Group. "The average property value of the communities we secure is $8 million, so our work is very high profile and we cannot afford to make mistakes. Using Virage we can bring our customers cutting-edge security without infringing on their everyday lives."

Virage's flexible, scalable architecture also means that a single operator can monitor operations across multiple sites from a central facility. "People who live in gated communities will often have multiple properties around the world," remarked David Humphrey, managing director of Virage Security and Surveillance. "Using Virage's advanced technology, Cogo can secure multiple locations from a central point, cutting costs and delivering tangible ROI."

Rob Lenihan remarked "An integral part of good security is making people feel safe, particularly in the gated communities where Cogo operates. Integrating Virage's technology into our solutions means that people can carry on with their lives safe in the knowledge that we will deliver every day of the year."
