TELPRESS SELECTS AUTONOMY TO DELIVER REAL-TIME NEWS INTELLIGENCE

European Media Group To Use Meaning-Based Computing Technology to Analyze and Search Millions of Audio, Video and Text News Clips

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - March 21st, 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Telpress has selected its IDOL enterprise infrastructure software to capture, search and analyze content from television stations, radio outlets and published media, as a key part of its media monitoring service to provide deeper intelligence and insight to its global clients.

Telpress is a leading provider of media intelligence in Europe. Its archives currently contain approximately 35 million news articles. In addition, the company indexes and stores new data each week with approximately 250,000 documents added to its corpus on a weekly basis. Autonomy's IDOL platform will enable Telpress to expedite the analysis, retrieval and delivery of media intelligence, including video, audio and text, for its international customers.

"With millions of documents in our archives, it's imperative that we provide our subscribers with quick and easy access to this data 24x7," said Pasquale D'Innella Capano, managing director of Telpress. "After a careful evaluation of the available technologies on the market, we found that IDOL, with its advanced conceptual retrieval capabilities, was the only solution that could meet our needs. Furthermore, Autonomy offers the scalability that we need to meet the challenge of our company's ever-growing volume of data."

Using Autonomy technology, Telpress media specialists will be able to search across more than 300 file types, including email, blogs, text and multi-media resources such as news and advertising broadcasts. In addition, Autonomy's technology can recommend and link to conceptually-related audio files, video clips and news articles. This will help Telpress, as a service contractor to multimedia content providers and in agreement with them, to provide its clients with the most relevant media intelligence quickly and accurately.

"Autonomy solutions are used by leading media organizations around the world," said Mike Lynch, chief executive officer of Autonomy. "We are pleased that the IDOL solution will help to provide the most up-to-date media intelligence to Telpress' growing customer base, enhancing the company's quality of service."
