AUTONOMY CARDIFF INTRODUCES LIQUIDOFFICE MOBILE FOR BLACKBERRY™
Industry's First and Only Enterprise-Class Mobile BPM Solution Delivers Anytime, Anywhere Review and Approvals to Drive Business Efficiency
Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - Mar. 6, 2007 - Cardiff, a division of Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L) and leading provider of intelligent document solutions, today announced the immediate availability of Cardiff LiquidOffice Mobile for BlackBerry® smartphones. This new Intelligent Document solution enables decision-makers to access, review, digitally sign and approve steps in pivotal business processes from just about anywhere in a manner that is secure, auditable and compliant. It is the first and only mobile BPM solution with real-time access to information in process.
In today's fast-paced business environment, mobile executives and professionals must make quick, informed decisions in order to raise productivity levels and keep key business processes moving. Being unable to access and approve critical process elements in the field can create lags in processes and limit the productivity of others. The Cardiff LiquidOffice Mobile platform revolutionizes how people access and influence in-flight business processes and real-time data by providing access using a BlackBerry smartphone. It allows process approvals to be facilitated, improved and accelerated, utilizing the unique BlackBerry push-based architecture.
"Providing mobile access to our business processes is of great interest to the City of Newark. The ability for us to extend our LiquidOffice process platform using the BlackBerry wireless solution is an exciting option to our city services," said Sherronda Carroll from the City of Newark's Office of Management and Budget. "As we continually work to improve the service and responsiveness that we deliver to our citizens, the ability to digitally sign and approve the steps in our business processes from the field versus sitting at a desk will greatly help in this goal."
Cardiff LiquidOffice Mobile is a native BlackBerry application that works both when connected or offline. With LiquidOffice Mobile for BlackBerry, users can access all process information, notes and decision options directly on their BlackBerry smartphone. Users also receive instant notification from the system that attention is required to review and drive the next steps in an enterprise business process. The product also enables secure digital signature to meet all legal requirements.
"The ability to act and interact with business processes in real-time has been a challenge for enterprise executives and management who travel or are away from their desks frequently," said Mark Seamans, chief executive officer of Cardiff. "With LiquidOffice Mobile, they can now access and securely take action on the information and processes that drive their business anywhere at anytime on the device that has become ubiquitous with the mobile workforce."
LiquidOffice Mobile is part of the Cardiff Intelligent Document suite which automates all aspects of both paper-based and web-based document-centric business processes. Cardiff delivers significant cost reduction, accelerated processes and an improved customer experience by taking formerly static documents and enabling them to 'process themselves' through the introduction of embedded intelligence.
