Interwoven Announces Interwoven Targeting and LiveSite 3.0 to Power Interactive and Engaging Online Experiences
Products provide support for content targeting, enhanced usability for marketers, and out-of-the-box blogging and support for RSS
SUNNYVALE, Calif - March 5, 2007 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), the global leader in content management solutions, today announced Interwoven Targeting, an innovative new content targeting product, and the latest version of Interwoven LiveSite, a dynamic content delivery engine that enables business users to put content to work quickly and easily to drive growth. Interwoven Targeting and Interwoven LiveSite 3.0 incorporate new marketing enablement features that make it even easier to create, manage, and deliver online content and offers to customers. The products are also key components of the new Interwoven Segmentation and Analytics solution (see related press release "Interwoven Announces Segmentation and Analytics Solution to Increase Online Customer Conversions Interwoven Announces Segmentation and Analytics Solution to Increase Online Customer Conversions ").
As companies intensify their focus on putting content to work to drive growth, the effective deployment of persuasive, customer influencing content has taken on significant importance. Interwoven Targeting and Interwoven LiveSite address this urgent need by providing business and marketing professionals with powerful yet simple-to-use tools that enable the creation, management, and delivery of dynamic Websites. Key capabilities available in Interwoven Targeting include the creation and management of customer segments and content targeting rules. New capabilities in Interwoven LiveSite 3.0 include enhanced in-context editing and navigation management features, support for real simple syndication (RSS), and out-of-the-box blogging.
Interwoven Targeting To increase customer conversions and showcase their differentiation, companies are increasingly striving to deliver a more relevant online experience. Content and offer targeting to high value customer segments enables marketers to deliver the right content, to the right customer, at the right time. Interwoven Targeting provides online customer segmentation, rules creation and management, and a dynamic content-targeting rules engine. This product gives business users the capability to define segments for groupings of customers based on a combination of customer value, demographics, psychographics, and other customer data and campaign objectives. Rules creation and management provide the ability to identify specific content and offers. The dynamic rules engine, in concert with LiveSite 3.0, powers the delivery of that targeted content at the moment of greatest impact.
Interwoven LiveSite 3.0 To further deepen customer relationships and engage customers in the dialogue about the brand, many business-to-consumer and business-to-business companies are adding blogs to their sites. Interwoven LiveSite 3.0 provides out-of-the-box blogging functionality that can be deployed to create both free blogs to strengthen customer relationships and fee-based blogs that generate additional revenue through access to value-added content. Users can also easily syndicate content to social networking sites and other relevant venues as well as incorporate external RSS feeds in their own sites.
Interwoven LiveSite 3.0 reflects Interwoven's commitment to providing business users with rich functionality in a what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG), point-and-click environment. With LiveSite, non-technical personnel can take control of the entire online experience, from content to presentation, without requiring IT assistance. Drag-and-drop site map and navigation, enhanced in-context editing, and run-time delivery capabilities greatly simplify the creation and delivery of content, offers, promotions, and entire dynamic Web sites. Out-of-the-box components, such as dynamic navigation, content lists, and promotions dramatically accelerate time-to-market, and a Web analytics component makes it easy for marketers to add campaign tracking tags to pages for site analysis.
"For many of our clients, their Web presence has become the primary contact point for communicating with customers. The competition to keep these customers engaged is fierce. The days of static Web sites with generic content are gone, and increasingly sophisticated online customers expect more," said Kamran Hameed, head of Global Alliances, Avenue A/Razorfish. "Interwoven Targeting and LiveSite 3.0 put the power into the hands of the business user to enrich their customers' online experiences, be more responsive to changing customer preferences, and counter competitive moves. With Interwoven, we help our clients be more agile and responsive to their customers as they evolve their Web presence."
"Until now, enterprises have mostly observed the social computing phenomenon from the sidelines. But enterprises recognize online communities, blogs, and RSS as a key opportunity to improve customer satisfaction and drive top line growth. The question is how to deploy it effectively while maintaining brand equity and corporate compliance," said Rafiq Mohammadi, Chief Technical Officer at Interwoven. "Interwoven Targeting and LiveSite are designed to help enterprises continue to execute a compelling Web strategy and provide the means for business teams to be more responsive to changing market conditions."
Availability Interwoven Targeting and LiveSite 3.0 will be generally available later this month.
