Mark Greatorex, CMO of Meridio to chair AIIM Europe's Advisory Board
Meridio's Chief Marketing Officer to represent European Members on AIIM Board
Belfast NI, March 1, 2007 – Meridio, the leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records Management (eDRM) software engineered for Microsoft® .NET based technologies and AIIM, the global enterprise content management association, today announced that Mark Greatorex, Meridio's Chief Marketing Officer has been elected as Chairman of the AIIM Europe Advisory Board. In his new role Mark will represent AIIM Europe members on the international AIIM Board.
The AIIM Europe Advisory Board's objectives are to provide advice and guidance on the issues and direction on which AIIM Europe should focus in its role as an independent European voice of the Enterprise Content Management industry. AIIM's members represent suppliers and users of the technologies required to capture, manage, process, store, preserve and deliver enterprise-wide content to support business processes.
"The ECM industry is still evolving and the next few years will see many changes as corporate governance mandates mature and solutions come to market that effectively manage the increasing volumes of electronic data whilst meeting the legislative, process improvement and litigation-avoidance requirement being placed on all organizations," said Mark Greatorex. "I look forward to working with AIIM to ensure that we continue to develop and grow the global educational and advisory role."
