Leading Consulting Organization Evaluates Meridio as Robust Records Management Application

Kahn Consulting, Inc. Delivers an Information Management Compliance Evaluation of Meridio®

Waltham MA, February 22, 2007 – Meridio, the leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records Management (eDRM) software engineered for Microsoft® .NET based technologies today announced that Kahn Consulting, Inc (KCI), a leading consulting firm specializing in the legal, compliance, and policy issues of Information Technology and Information Lifecycle Management have published an Information Management Compliance Evaluation of Meridio Whitepaper.

In this Evaluation, KCI assessed the suitability of Meridio as an application for the management of electronic records for business and legal purposes. In conducting this evaluation, KCI assessed Meridio capabilities against criteria developed from legal and regulatory requirements and best practices for the management of electronic information and records.

KCI concluded that, "By providing an intuitive and precise records classification process; structured Fileplan capabilities; email management capabilities; administration and auditing functionality; compliance with industry standards; Information Lifecycle Management functionality; information security controls; e-discovery support; and business continuity functionality, the Meridio application meets foundational information management requirements.
