NANDAKI SYSTEMS ENTERS INTO OEM AGREEMENT WITH AUTONOMY
Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - Feb. 21, 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Nandaki Systems, a leading knowledge integration company in India, has chosen Autonomy's IDOL advanced enterprise infrastructure software for its Strategic Enterprise Management framework, IP3.
Nandaki Systems' business focuses on the integration of knowledge that resides within an enterprise, including strategy, process, people, technology and infrastructure. IP3 is a business component that can be embedded into an enterprise system for Strategic Enterprise Management. With Autonomy's IDOL platform, Nandaki Systems will be able to provide its end-user customers with relevant search results based on the conceptual and contextual content of both their search queries and viewed content. As a result, customers of Nandaki Systems will be able to make better and faster business decisions.
"Our core focus is business transformation. Transformation needs Knowledge - not just the knowledge from your organized content and data, but also that from the terabytes of unstructured data and content," said Subbu Iyer, chief executive officer of Nandaki Systems. "We believe that Autonomy will help us meet the challenge of converting this information into intelligence that can support the continuous and concurrent nature of Business Transformation." Nandaki Systems' customer, CBaySystems, will be the first to implement the Autonomy technology as part of the IP3 framework.
"Autonomy's IDOL technology provides Nandaki Systems with next-generation software capabilities that extend its knowledge integration vision by making sense of an organization's unstructured information," said Stouffer Egan, chief executive officer of Autonomy, Inc. "The ability to conduct concept-based search makes Autonomy the ideal solution for enhancing the functionality and core strengths already built into the IP3 framework."
