ENERGYSOLUTIONS USES AUTONOMY IDOL PLATFORM FOR MEANING-BASED SEARCH
Autonomy Solution Enables Nuclear Services Company Make Sense of Data Inherited Through Acquisitions
Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - Feb. 13, 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise and proponent of meaning-based computing, today announced that EnergySolutions has implemented the Autonomy Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) platform to enable its employees to find the most relevant information across the enterprise quickly and easily. With Autonomy, EnergySolutions' users benefit from highly relevant search results based on the conceptual and contextual content of both their search queries and viewed content.

EnergySolutions was formed in 2006 by merging BNG America, Duratek, Envirocare of Utah, and the D&D division of Scientech. These acquisitions brought together complementary services to establish a vertically integrated company, and forming one of the largest providers of services to safely transport, process, and dispose of radioactive materials. Today, EnergySolutions has become a leading provider of nuclear services across the entire nuclear fuel cycle.

EnergySolutions evaluated other enterprise search solutions, but selected IDOL due to its leadership position and the comprehensive range of functions the IDOL platform delivers, such as dynamic clustering, which enables EnergySolutions' users to find related documents in real-time.
