SATYAM SELECTS AUTONOMY AS PREFERRED PARTNER FOR ENTERPRISE SEARCH AND MEANING-BASED COMPUTING

Existing relationship accelerated and formalized with the launch of a dedicated team to offer joint solutions for risk & compliance management, advanced video analytics and rich media management

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. – 29th Jan. 2007 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that it has been chosen as the preferred partner for enterprise search and meaning-based technologies by Satyam Computer Services Ltd, (NYSE:SAY) a global IT consulting and services provider with acknowledged expertise in the ECM space. Satyam is a truly global organization with over 38,000 professionals spanning 55 countries and six continents. Under the agreement, Satyam will extend their global alliance with Autonomy to provide a worldwide joint task force offering strategic consulting and systems integration services for the enterprise. Together, the two companies will offer specialized solutions for Enterprise Search, Compliance, Legal Discovery and Multimedia search, for customers in the Financial Services, Media & Publishing space.

Autonomy and Satyam have been partners for several years and have successfully collaborated on a number of high-level, high-value projects. Both organizations have committed to significant human investment in the relationship and the joint team will generate real business benefits to their shared global customer base providing another level of service, expertise and dedication. The specialized solutions developed by the pairing will ensure a wider number of customers benefit from Autonomy's pioneering, next-generation technology, derive maximum value from their information sources and protect existing investments.
