ZANTAZ Expands Management Team

Robert Little Joins as Vice President of Product Marketing; Jack Dempsey Joins as Vice President of Product Development

PLEASANTON, Calif. - Dec. 13, 2006 - ZANTAZ, Inc., the global leader in content archiving and electronic discovery solutions, today announced the appointments of Robert (Bob) Little as vice president of product marketing and Jack Dempsey as vice president of product development.

With more than 18 years of experience integrating customer needs, software product capabilities, and industry trends into a strategic market vision, Bob Little assumes broad product marketing responsibilities including defining market requirements, delivering competitive and market research and defining product messages. Prior to ZANTAZ, Little was the director of business development strategy at EMC Software. During his tenure at EMC and Documentum (prior to its acquisition by EMC), Little also held the position of general manager, Compliance Product Business Unit, where he managed a global, 50-person team spanning engineering, marketing, sales, consulting and administration. Prior to that, he was director of product management for the company's flagship content management products and was the corporate spokesman for the application of technology to meet compliance requirements in life sciences, healthcare, financial services, corporate governance, and litigation.

Dempsey leads the ZANTAZ product development teams in Boston, Ottawa, Canada and Pleasanton, Calif., and brings more than 23 years of product development and product management experience to ZANTAZ. Most recently he was the vice president of business development for Cylant, a developer of software and technologies to ensure the security and reliability of critical network systems and servers. Prior to Cylant, Dempsey held several executive product development positions including vice president of development and product management at CertCo, Inc. and vice president of engineering at NEC Computer Systems, where he was responsible for developing and supporting computing products for global markets. Dempsey spent most of the first 10 years of his career in research and development positions at Wang Laboratories.

"The addition of Bob and Jack to the ZANTAZ team reflects our unrelenting commitment to bring together the best and brightest in our industry whose focus is on solving the serious challenges our customers face from the ever-growing volume of electronic content and the increasingly complex rules related to compliance and litigation," said ZANTAZ President and CEO Steve King. "The depth of experience and talent that Bob and Jack bring to the table will play a critical role in the design and development of our future products."
