Interwoven Announces Upcoming Support for the 2007 Microsoft Office system, Exchange Server 2007, and Windows Vista

WorkSite features seamless integration with Microsoft products, enabling companies to organize, secure, and collaborate on critical business content

SUNNYVALE, Calif - November 30, 2006 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, today announced that Interwoven WorkSite, a best-in-class collaborative content management platform, will be fully compatible with Windows Vista, Exchange Server 2007, and the 2007 Microsoft Office system.

Built to utilize Microsoft platform technologies, WorkSite enables organizations to maximize existing investments in Microsoft-based applications and solutions. The inherent compatibility ensures WorkSite users a seamless transition to Microsoft Corp.'s new technologies using a solution that is familiar, easy to use, and requires minimal change for user adoption.

WorkSite utilizes core Microsoft platform innovations including unified search, portals, information security, and business process automation - enabling IT departments to better define an information management strategy to address current needs while preparing them to deliver more efficient, more secure, and better-integrated solutions based on the Microsoft platform.

"Interwoven WorkSite was built from the ground up with the intent of supporting the Windows Vista platform and features some of the industry's tightest integration with Microsoft Office applications," says Neil Araujo, Vice President, Marketing for Professional Services Industry Solutions, Interwoven. "With WorkSite, Interwoven delivers the industry's most complete and compatible end-to-end solutions for managing critical business content, supporting and improving compliance processes, and collaborating efficiently on a global level."

Interwoven WorkSite enables companies to organize, share, and secure documents, e-mail, and other critical business assets to increase individual and team productivity in addition to meeting regulatory compliance goals. Capable of scaling to tens of millions of documents and e-mail messages across distributed geographical locations, WorkSite provides a collaborative workspace environment that enables diverse groups of internal and external business users to efficiently manage content. WorkSite solutions are designed to extend Microsoft's comprehensive capabilities in the areas of document authoring, email, portals, server operating systems and database technologies. The user interfaces within the 2007 Office system and the portal and search capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 provide a natural consumption layer for WorkSite customers to provide easy access and contribution of content.

"We are pleased to support Interwoven's increasing commitment to the Microsoft platform; our mutual customers will enjoy the benefits of our continued efforts together," said Rob Bernard, general manager, Worldwide ISV Group at Microsoft. "In the upcoming months, we anticipate working with Interwoven to ensure successful customer adoption and to extend the benefits of our mutual investments in the 2007 Microsoft Office system, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and Windows Vista."

Interwoven, in its partnership with Microsoft, will continue to develop and enhance WorkSite solutions to enable customers to leverage powerful new capabilities.
