VERDASYS SIGNS OEM AGREEMENT WITH AUTONOMY

Partnership to Further Help Global Organizations to Comply with Company Best Practices and Government Regulations

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - Nov. 29, 2006 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Verdasys, the leader in business process integrity solutions for information risk management, has signed an OEM agreement with Autonomy to integrate the company's Extractor, Profiler and IDOL technologies into Verdasys' flagship product, Digital Guardian.

Verdasys has integrated Autonomy's IDOL platform, as well as its Extractor and Profiler technologies into Digital Guardian's new module, Adaptive Content Inspection. The Autonomy products allow Verdasys to extend Digital Guardian's data protection and business process integrity management capabilities by enabling its Verdasys' customers to search across more than 250 file formats. It also enables authorized agents to search for entities such as names, addresses, phone numbers, as well as critical keywords. With the Autonomy products, Verdasys' customers can also train the system to recognize highly sensitive information, such as corporate contracts and employee information, and then apply that to Verdasys' context-based data policy which monitor and control data security and business process integrity.

Verdasys solutions protect proprietary and sensitive data and the integrity of the business processes essential to successfully conducting business on a global basis. The Digital Guardian platform creates a secure virtual perimeter to assure that data is controlled by policy and monitored for accountability, establishing a community of trust between the data user, data owner and data provider.

"Verdasys sought to find the most robust and mature technology in the market to extend the tagging and classification capabilities of our Digital Guardian product to also include flexible and customizable entity extraction, keyword matching, multi-lingual and document similarity capabilities," said Nick Stamos, president of Verdasys. "Autonomy met our technical requirements, in addition to being the market leader by far, was the obvious choice."

"The risk posed by unauthorized distribution of data to and from an enterprise must be managed effectively," said Stouffer Egan, chief executive officer of Autonomy, Inc. - US. "We are pleased that our products have become critical components of the Verdasys' data security solution."
