Meridio receives the prestigious ISA Sales Achievement Award
The Irish Software Association recognizes Meridio for Sales Success
Belfast NI, November 15, 2006 – Meridio, the leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records Management (eDRM) software engineered for Microsoft® .NET platforms has been recognized by the Irish Software Association with their prestigious Sales Achievement of the Year Award. The Sales Achievement award is sponsored by Enterprise Ireland and goes to the company that increased revenues, relative to their size and other conditions, through a specific sales achievement.
The criteria for the Sales Achievement Award as defined by the ISA is "to recognise a sales achievement that transforms a business".
The significant sales deal, closed by Meridio earlier this year was:
A major breakthrough in the company's focus on the Defence & Intelligence sector.
The largest ever Electronic Documents and Records Management software deal ever awarded, which comprises of an enterprise software licence totalling over 330,000 users at a major government ministry.
The initial contract value is €12 million with an expected lifetime revenue in excess of €33 million.
Mark Godfrey, Global VP of Sales for Meridio was present to receive the award at the Irish Software Association's annual awards ceremony held November 10th.
Meridio was previously recognized by the ISA in 2005 with their Partnership of the Year Award for the Meridio-Microsoft relationship.
