De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek Chooses Interwoven to Improve Firm-Wide Efficiency

Leading Dutch law firm uses Matter-Centric Collaboration Solution to provide an elevated level of service to clients

LONDON, U.K - October 18, 2006 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, today announced that De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, one of the largest law firms in the Netherlands, has chosen the Interwoven Engagement/Matter-Centric Collaboration Solution to enhance firm-wide collaboration. Based on Interwoven WorkSite, and implemented with the assistance of Interwoven's partner Morningstar Systems, the solution enables De Brauw to improve operational efficiency while providing an automated means of unifying its geographically dispersed internal teams. Providing e-mail management, document management, and collaboration within a fully integrated, matter-centric environment enables De Brauw to greatly reduce the risk associated with document management and control.

As the lead law firm for more than 40% of the Netherlands' top 100 companies, De Brauw provides legal expertise to domestic and international enterprises, financial institutions and governmental bodies. The firm chose Interwoven WorkSite for its ability to store, retrieve and manage e-mail communications in the same unified environment as other types of matter content.

The Interwoven solution's matter-centric collaboration capabilities enable legal professionals to manage content ranging from e-mail to electronically scanned documents in a single, universally accessible electronic file. Automated profiling and classification assists in meeting global regulatory compliance requirements and reduces risk by enforcing uniform retention policies across the full range of content.

"By implementing WorkSite, we are able to manage vast amounts of matter information in a uniform, collaborative and streamlined process across all of our offices," Said Martien Kroon, vice-president, IT at De Brauw. "This efficiency translates into an elevated level of service that we can provide to our clients."

Interwoven partner Morningstar Systems, a leading provider of integration, consulting and training services, will assist De Brauw in implementing WorkSite in The Netherlands, London and New York. Said Kroon, "In addition to WorkSite's position as a leading solution for content management, we are impressed by the results Interwoven and their partner, Morningstar Systems, have delivered for other leading Dutch law firms."

René Beulen, director of Morningstar Systems, said, "Many companies lose time and money by not thinking through the issues associated with managing e-mail and other electronic document management. For legal firms, this oversight can equal many thousands of dollars in lost time. Morningstar Systems is pleased to have partnered with Interwoven to offer De Brauw a comprehensive matter-centric solution to further improve their operational efficiency."

Said Neil Araujo, vice president, legal and professional services solutions, Interwoven, "We are thrilled to be working with De Brauw to provide the firm with a solution that meets its evolving needs. Designed specifically to address content management challenges professional services firms face today, Interwoven WorkSite enables optimal efficiency while reducing the risk associated with current and emerging global regulations."
