Interwoven Announces Substantial Update to Flagship Web Content Management Product

New Interwoven TeamSite capabilities reduce total cost of ownership and accelerate time to market

LONDON, U.K - October 18, 2006 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, today announced important enhancements to Interwoven TeamSite at GearUp Europe, the company's annual pan-European user conference.

This new version of TeamSite continues Interwoven's innovation in making it easier to execute, manage and control complex projects that span multiple Websites and multiple delivery channels. Included in the new version of TeamSite is full enterprise support for Linux, enabling organizations to reduce total cost of ownership by taking advantage of this popular platform. Additional capabilities of this release include:

  • Next-generation Workflow Builder gives business users a drag-and-drop task-based interface to easily create, manage and deploy workflows to automate the business processes that drive Web publishing.
  • Single sign-on (SSO) enhancements provide an open, flexible infrastructure for integration with third-party SSO systems to ensure critical applications work together seamlessly.
  • FormsPublisher enhancements accelerate performance and extend capabilities, making it even faster for business users to quickly add and change Web content.
