Autonomy Delivers Enhanced Export, Viewing and Filtering With KeyView v10

Continues to Support OEMs with Leading Technologies

Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, Calif. - Oct. 18, 2006 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced the immediate availability of a new release of its KeyView™ Software Development Kits (SDKs) version 10.0. This new release includes new and enhanced export, viewing and filtering capabilities that allow third-party applications to more effectively manage, evaluate and take action on high-value content.

Comprised of three SDK options, Autonomy KeyView is available as KeyView Filter SDK, KeyView Viewer SDK, and KeyView Export SDK. The KeyView Filter SDK allows for rapid and accurate extraction of text and metadata from a wide variety of documents on numerous platforms. The KeyView Viewer SDK recognizes more than three hundred document types permitting end-users to view and print business-critical document without installing the native applications. The KeyView Export SDK allows organizations to convert documents to high fidelity Web-ready HTML and XML files, enabling any document to be made widely accessible and usable to authorized users.

This latest release of KeyView SDKs v.10.0 includes new APIs that allow end-users to access personal storage (PST) files across multiple platforms. APIs to support PST now include Microsoft Outlook 97, Outlook 98, Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003. KeyView v.10.0 also includes expanded support for several new formats such as Microsoft Access, RAR Archive, Open Document (latest StarOffice) and Macromedia Flash. In addition, this latest release offers enhanced operability capabilities, viewing fidelity, file extraction, as well as support for .NET APIs.

"Interwoven utilizes KeyView for filtering in support of search capabilities in our TeamSite content management platform," said Todd Scallan, Interwoven vice president of product management. "KeyView's functionality further allows us to deliver enriched content experience management solutions to our clients, their employees and their external customers. We believe that the most recent KeyView release continues to underscore Autonomy's commitment to delivering critical enabling technologies for our customer experience management solutions."

The KeyView technology is a component of hundreds of leading commercial applications such as Secure Messaging, Storage, Content Management and Compliance. Longtime Autonomy KeyView OEM partners include but are not limited to IBM Lotus, Oracle, Interwoven, CipherTrust, Entrust, Hyland Software, Iron Mountain, KANA, Messageware, Prism, StoredIQ, Xerox and Zantaz.

"Autonomy KeyView technology enhances the value and performance of hundreds of enterprise applications. With the enhanced features of this new release, independent software vendors (ISVs) have even more reason to integrate our robust and proven content viewing, filtering and export capabilities into their applications," said Dr Mike Lynch, Autonomy's chief executive officer and founder.

Autonomy KeyView v10.0 is now available for OEM license and distribution. For more information on the KeyView SDKs, please visit www.autonomy.com.
