ZANTAZ Selects David Milam, Veteran of EMC and Documentum, As Senior Vice President of Chief Marketing Officer
PLEASANTON, Calif. - Oct. 2, 2006 - ZANTAZ, Inc., the global leader in content archiving and electronic discovery solutions, today announced the appointment of David Milam as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
Milam comes to ZANTAZ from EMC where he was senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the company's multi-billion dollar information, storage, and content management software group. Prior to EMC, Milam was executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Documentum, where he played an instrumental role in significantly growing the business, tripling the customer base to more than 3000, and making Documentum the dominant leader in Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration Software, which resulted in its acquisition by EMC in 2003.
Prior to EMC/Documentum, Milam held a variety of executive management positions at Broadbase Software and Cadence Design Systems. Milam has an MBA in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Quantitative Systems from California State University, Long Beach.
"David's track record for building global brands and developing innovative marketing initiatives combined with his relevant industry experience make him the obvious choice to help drive continued growth of our market-leading content archiving and electronic discovery solutions," said ZANTAZ President and CEO Steve King.
"ZANTAZ has paid close attention to the needs of its customers and has built an unparalleled set of solutions that offer clearly differentiated value in terms of capabilities, flexibility, and cost control," Milam said. "Long recognized as a leader in content archiving, ZANTAZ is also well-positioned to dominate the rapidly growing electronic discovery marketplace."
