Escalate Retail OEMs Autonomy's Search Technology to Enhance Multi-Channel Ecommerce Functionality

Escalate Retail, newly formed from merger of GERS Retail Systems and Ecometry, renews long-standing commitment to Autonomy OEM Program

San Francisco, Calif., - Sept 21, 2006 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Escalate Retail, the newly formed company from the merger of GERS Retail Systems and Ecometry, has renewed the long-standing partnership to OEM Autonomy's search technology on the Escalate Retail application, Multi-Channel Commerce v7.

Escalate Retail Multi-Channel Commerce provides all the applications needed by retailers to run a multi-channel business including online merchandising and selling, order processing, order management, customer service, and fulfillment - in a single, integrated suite. The aim is to provide a seamless and highly satisfactory shopping experience on all channels and to capture and retain the most profitable customers. By enabling customers to find the information they need quickly and accurately Autonomy is helping Escalate Retail meet that objective.
