AUTONOMY'S VERITY RECEIVES "CIRCLE OF HUMANITARIANS AWARD"
CAMBRIDGE, England and SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 23 June 2006 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, announced today that it has received a "Circle of Humanitarians Award" from the Santa Clara County Chapter of the American Red Cross for contributions by Verity and its employees. The award recognized donations by Verity and its employees during the Hurricane Katrina disaster in August 2005.
Dr Michael Lynch, Autonomy's Chief Executive Officer, commented on the award: "Both Verity and Autonomy have strong traditions of charitable initiatives, not least the support of Verity for the American Red Cross in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. We look forward to continuing these efforts following the acquisition of Verity by Autonomy."
