ZANTAZ® Enhances Digital Safe to Reduce Time and Cost of Compliant Archiving and Discovery Readiness
Leader in Compliant Archiving Improves User Productivity, Increases ROI
Securities Industry Association's Technology Management Conference, New York, NY. - June 20, 2006 - ZANTAZ, Inc., a global leader in digital archiving and eDiscovery solutions, today announced major enhancements to ZANTAZ Digital Safe, the industry's leading hosted compliant email archiving solution. Trusted by 10 of the world's top 20 financial services firms, ZANTAZ Digital Safe has reduced the time and cost related to compliant archiving and extended customers' options related to discovery readiness.
ZANTAZ Digital Safe is a set of industry-leading compliance archiving, supervision and data restoration products and services designed to help global organizations meet the supervision, records retention and retrieval requirements of industry and government regulations.
"While ZANTAZ Digital Safe is already the industry's most trusted on-demand compliant archiving solution with more than 10 billion messages stored, we have further responded to our customers' needs by providing additional archiving management capabilities and integrated litigation support," said Joe Romanowski, vice president of product strategy, ZANTAZ. "These new enhancements improve user productivity, drive down the cost of compliant archiving and increase our customers' ability to manage initial discovery requests, including the ability to set various retention policies across their email archive."
Key new features of ZANTAZ Digital Safe include:
Platform Modifications - ZANTAZ Digital Safe is now integrated with the ZANTAZ EAS™ on-site mailbox/file management solution, creating the industry's only on-demand compliant archive with on-site mailbox/file management capabilities.
Single-Instance Storage (SIS) - ZANTAZ Digital Safe provides "instant ROI" by eliminating the storage of duplicates and near duplicates, which studies show can account for up to 80 percent of a typical archive.
Enhanced Search and Discovery - ZANTAZ Digital Safe now supports the native Microsoft® Exchange message format (.msg), exposing more searchable data to better focus searches for legal discovery. In addition, the system now supports all western European languages, ensuring more complete searches across the distributed enterprise.
Expanded Review Through Digital Safe Audit Center - The Digital Safe Audit Center, which supports more complex searches as well as the industry's only high-volume exporting to litigation systems, now offers the ability to review and tag messages allowing investigators and reviewers to pre-review results to add valuable information and to mark messages for privilege. The Audit Center also supports a more complicated audit lifecycle, enabling audits to be handed off to different individuals or groups.
More Flexible Supervision Through Digital Safe Supervisor - Digital Safe Supervisor, which enables organizations to monitor employee communications to meet industry regulations and corporate governance, now highlights search results within the context of the original message or attachment, making it easier and faster to identify relevant passages. Emails can be forwarded directly from the Digital Safe archive, enabling a reviewer to quickly escalate an email beyond the defined Supervisor group. Supervisor also now records each time a message is opened, allowing for expanded auditing of the supervisory function.
