AUTONOMY'S CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER ADDRESSES CHINA CIO FORUM 2006

Andrew Kanter Featured as Speaker at Annual Conference of China's Leading CIOs

Cambridge, England - 16th June 2006 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Andrew Kanter, Autonomy's Chief Operating Officer, addressed today the China CIO Forum 2006 on the topic of The Future of Meaning Based Computing. The China CIO Forum is hosted by CEO & CIO CHINA magazines, and this year is held on 15 and 16 June on Hainan Island, China.

Mr. Kanter's address focused on the topic of harnessing the value of the explosion of unstructured data in today's enterprise and how leading enterprises the world over are taking advantage of the power of meaning based computing to leverage their information assets. Autonomy is both the market share leader for enterprise search and in the exciting area of meaning based computing and has been acknowledged as the fastest growing of the publicly traded companies in the sector.
