ZANTAZ and Planet Technologies Partner to Help Service Providers Deploy Email Archving as a Service

Planet Technologies to Leverage Expertise in Microsoft Solutions for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration to Deliver ZANTAZ EAS as a Service

MICROSOFT HOSTING SUMMIT, REDMOND, WA., PLEASANTON, CA. and GERMANTOWN, MD. - April 25, 2006 - ZANTAZ, Inc., the global leader in Information Retention and Discovery Management (IRDM) solutions, today announced that Planet Technologies has become a certified deployment partner for ZANTAZ Enterprise Archive Solution (EAS) for the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC). Planet Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and premier provider of information technology services and solutions to clients around the world, is one of the leading experts in the deployment of Microsoft's hosting solutions, and can help service providers quickly and cost-effectively add the world-class ZANTAZ email archiving application to their hosted services portfolio.

Driven by concerns related to compliance, disaster recovery, and storage management, customer adoption of email archiving in the Small Medium Business (SMB) market is exploding. According to The Radicati Group, 28% of SMB customers are already using an email archiving solution, and 24% of those not currently with a solution have plans to buy one. ZANTAZ EAS, the most comprehensive email archiving solution, meets these market challenges by ensuring the long-term retention and instant retrieval of email while optimizing storage resources, reducing IT overhead, and increasing end-user productivity.

The Solution for HMC is a multi-tenant platform that integrates revenue-producing, managed applications - or hosted services - with infrastructure components. It enables service providers to offer multiple levels of service with different communication and collaboration solutions. With Planet Technologies expertise in deploying Microsoft technologies, ZANTAZ EAS is integrated with these infrastructure components to broaden the range of functionality and ease of administration of an organization's Microsoft Windows-based hosting environment.

"As our service provider customers build out their set of hosted services on the Microsoft Solutions for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration platform, they have made it clear that an integrated email archiving solution will generate additional revenues and build customer loyalty," said Mike Klass, director of Hosting Services at Planet Technologies. "As a certified deployment partner for ZANTAZ EAS, we are able to quickly and inexpensively add this industry-leading software application to a provider's portfolio of hosted services."

"As hosted services gain momentum in the SMB market, it has become imperative that we make our industry-leading EAS software solution available to this vital market via service providers," said Steve Reny, senior vice president, Corporate Development for ZANTAZ. "Planet Technologies will offer these service providers a cost-effective way to quickly add the key services they need to help their customers reduce the risk and costs associated with email."
