Interwoven Announces Support for the Sun Solaris 10 Operating System; Companies Provide Joint Customers with Tightly-Integrated, End-to-End Content Solutions

Sun is currently a Platinum Sponsor at the Interwoven GearUp '06 conference, which is taking place this week in Hollywood, Florida. By working closely together over the last several years, Interwoven and Sun today have over 100 joint content solution customers, and approximately 50 percent of Interwoven's customer base also leverages Sun infrastructure.
As a result of the extended collaboration, Interwoven is certifying its Web Content Management, Document Management, and The Interwoven Composite Application Provisioning Solutions on the Solaris 10 OS. Customers Realize Strong Performance Gains The Solaris 10 OS includes innovative features not available on other platforms, such as Dynamic Tracing (DTrace), Predictive Self-Healing and Solaris Containers, enabling customers to more effectively utilize system resources, and more quickly diagnose and resolve system issues in order to maximize their hardware investment and maintain availability.
