Interwoven GearUp '06 Conference to Kick Off Next Week, Featuring Keynote Presentations from CXO Media, Cingular Wireless, Avaya, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Gartner, and Others

Leading ECM olutions Conference to Bring Together Interwoven Customers, Partners, and Industry Experts for Over 70 Sessions on Leveraging ECM Solutions and Best Practices for Improved Customer Experience, Accelerated Revenue, and Reduced Risk Across the Enterprise

SUNNYVALE, Calif - March 27, 2006 - WHAT: The Interwoven GearUp '06 conference is scheduled to kick off next week in Hollywood, Florida, featuring numerous presentations from world-class ECM customers; a PartnerNetwork Pavilion with 50 leading sponsors; more than 70 breakout sessions addressing the full range of Interwoven solution and product areas; and an exclusive gala reception. The global event-designed to foster educational and interactive discussions between customers, analysts, and industry experts on ECM solutions and best practices-will feature two keynote panel presentations including CXO Media Inc. (publisher of CIO Magazine and CSO Magazine), Cingular Wireless, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Avaya, Gartner, The Working Practice, Interwoven executives, and others. Additional Interwoven customers scheduled to present include: Allstate, DuPont, HSBC, John Hancock, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, SunTrust, and more.

A premier ECM event, Interwoven GearUp '06 is a two and a half day conference that will explore the many ways leading enterprises worldwide are leveraging Interwoven ECM solutions-including customer experience solutions, financial solutions, and professional service solutions-to accelerate revenue, improve operational effectiveness, and manage risk across the enterprise.

The keynote panel presentations at Interwoven GearUp '06 will focus on the increasing importance for companies to improve customer experience and how they're achieving this goal, as well as how companies across vertical industries are defining the role of content as part of their corporate strategy:

  • Customer Experience Panel: According to a recent BusinessWeek article ("The Best of 2005," December 19, 2005), "Companies used to focus on making new, better, or cheaper products and services, and then selling them in the marketplace. Now, the game is to create wonderful and emotional experiences...it's the experience that counts, not the product." This keynote panel, comprised of leading executives from global organizations such as Cingular Wireless, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Avaya, will address why creating and maintaining a consistent and personalized customer experience across all touchpoints should be a top priority for businesses today. The panel will be moderated by Michael Friedenberg, CEO of CXO Media Inc.
  • Industry Expert Panel on the evolving role of content in today's enterprises: During this panel, leading industry experts-including CXO Media, The Working Practice, and Gartner-will discuss how global enterprises, financial services firms, professional services and consulting firms, manufacturers, retailers, small and medium businesses, and others, are defining the role of content as part of their corporate strategy including: how the effective use of content enables businesses to penetrate new markets; how content can help attract and retain new customers as well as improve customer satisfaction; how the availability and sharing of content can drive accelerated revenue; and much more. The panel will be moderated by Rafiq Mohammadi, chief technology officer at Interwoven.

"Over the past couple of years, there has been a clear shift within enterprises from a focus on cost-cutting to once again driving new revenue-generating opportunities, innovation, and growth," said Michael Friedenberg, president and CEO of CXO Media, Inc. "The end result has been a renewed importance placed on improving customer experience by executives across nearly all vertical industries. As a content management leader, Interwoven is aptly focused on helping enterprises achieve this goal, and I'm looking forward to participating as a keynote presenter at GearUp-bringing to the discussion the insights and experiences of the many leading business technology executives CXO Media speaks with every day about the evolving role of content within their enterprises."

The PartnerNetwork Pavilion at GearUp '06 will showcase the latest ECM innovations, including fifty Interwoven partners displaying their newest solutions and services. Leading sponsors include Sun, Microsoft, Kofax, SDL, Avenue A | Razorfish, Macquarium, Molecular, BEA, Fujitsu, and others. The pavilion will feature a mix of enterprise technology and systems integrator partners as well as legal/professional services partners. By visiting the PartnerNetwork Pavilion, attendees can meet with Interwoven partners to learn how to optimize and extend their Interwoven investment.
