Aungate Demonstrates Real Time Compliance Monitoring, eDiscovery and Enforcement Solutions at SIA Compliance and Legal Seminar 2006

San Francisco, Calif. - March 20, 2005 - Aungate, specialists in Real-Time Enterprise Governance and a division of Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AUTN.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Aungate's range of real-time and automated compliance monitoring, eDiscovery and enforcement technology solution demonstrations would previewed at the SIA Compliance and Legal Division Seminar in Hollywood, Fla., March 19-22.

SIA provides an opportunity to showcase many of Aungate's world-first solutions which are being deployed by a growing global customer base of the world's largest enterprises including premier banks, leading litigators and global regulators such as the SEC and NYSE. Technologies used by these customers and which have captured significant press and market attention as examples of 'disruptive technologies' include Real Time Policy Manager, Real Time Records Management Classification and the world's most renowned eDiscovery, Electronic Document Discovery and Production solutions.

Increasing demands for corporate transparency, better governance and a raft of new regulatory requirements are driving sweeping changes in how electronic information is managed in the workplace. Change is further accelerated by events inside the courtroom, where poorly managed content incurs costly legal fines and significantly hampers an organization's response to litigation and regulatory matters. Aungate's technology is initiating a paradigm shift in meeting this apparently divergent set of requirements with a single suite of products that integrate to provide a seamless solution to meet compliance monitoring, eDiscovery and enforcement requirements.

Founded on Autonomy's world renowned Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL), Aungate's real-time content analysis technology automatically understands the content and interrelationships of all enterprise information including email, IM and rich media including voice and video content. A benchmark example of the paradigm shift achieved by this unique approach relevant to the legal sector will be demonstrated live on the Aungate stand at SIA by Aungate customer DOAR.

DOAR, an information services and consulting company which assists prominent law firms, major corporations and financial institutions involved in business litigation and regulatory matters, will demonstrate how the enterprise can now benefit from the seamless integration of expert legal advice and regulatory review using their newly launched Inference product which is founded on Aungate's core technology and which dramatically illustrates the unique ability to identify unknown relationships within a massively scalable second generation solution.

Says Samuel H. Solomon, CEO of DOAR: "We are excited to be working with Autonomy and their solutions for compliance and litigation-related information management for the enterprise. It is an excellent fit with our law firm facing Inference product for regulatory and litigation analysis and review."

Ian Black, Managing Director, Aungate explains "Traditional manual legacy technologies which serve the compliance, investigation and enforcement market offer little more than keyword analysis of small content volumes. Aungate is setting the standard in establishing a new paradigm where automated, real-time operations are required to be scalable and offer fourth-generation capabilities such as conceptual analysis, clustering and visualization of text, rich media including voice and video. Aungate is meeting this demand in every sector of the market, including the world's largest enterprises premier banks, leading litigators and global regulators such as the SEC and NYSE. No other technology is successfully meeting the requirements of such a broad selection of customers in a fast changing market that demands rapidly deployed solutions to extreme information challenges."
