ZANTAZĀ® Awarded Litigation Support System of the Year Award
Legal Technology Awards 2006 in association with Legal Business magazine
LONDON (January 26, 2006) - ZANTAZ, Inc., the global leader in Information Retention and Disclosure Management (IRDM) solutions, today announced that it was awarded the Litigation Support System of the Year award at the Legal Technology Awards 2006. The Legal Technology Awards, in association with Legal Business magazine, are dedicated to the strategic implementation of technology within law firms and in-house legal departments, recognising and celebrating excellence in the provision and implementation of technology solutions for the benefit of legal practice.
The accolade, sponsored by Legal Technology Insider, was awarded to ZANTAZ in recognition of ZANTAZ Introspect, the industry-leading discovery review solution for complex litigation and compliance projects. ZANTAZ Introspect is used by seven out of the top ten global law firms and, has been deployed in the UK for six years, longer than any other e-Disclosure system.
"We are thrilled to have won this award," said Glenn Perachio, ZANTAZ' Director of Sales, Europe. "ZANTAZ Introspect is the only litigation support system that is linked to information retention and archival solutions for clients. Recent changes in the Civil Procedure Rules, governing the conduct of e-Disclosure in the UK, firmly place the onus on law firms to be aware of and to advise their clients on e-Disclosure. Since archives are being increasingly drawn upon during the disclosure process ZANTAZ is uniquely positioned to offer an end-to-end, litigation-ready disclosure solution."
As law firms develop more sophisticated litigation support capabilities, they will be in the position to provide strong advice to their clients on being ready for litigation. Importantly, clients need to know what information needs to be retained, how to handle electronic documents, when a litigation hold is placed on information, and changes in rules/regulations governing the retention of information.
"With ZANTAZ Introspect as a trusted partner, we can focus on our core competencies and ensure we deliver quickly and successfully on behalf of our clients," said a senior partner at Richards Butler, a market leading international firm in London.
With its commitment to UK and Europe, ZANTAZ provides law firms with a product that suits their specific needs recently increasing its language support in the newest version of Introspect to support 12 languages and eliminate the need to translate documents prior to search and review. Hosted or on-site deployment, a firm can either develop a litigation support capability internally or use outside expertise to manage the disclosure process.
