ZANTAZĀ® Announces Support for IBM System Storage DR550
Email Archiving and Electronic Discovery Leader Helps Customers Meet
Compliance and Information Management Needs
ORLANDO, Fla. - Lotusphere (January 23, 2006) - ZANTAZ, Inc., a leader in Information Retention and Discovery Management (IRDM) solutions, today announced the integration of ZANTAZ Enterprise Archive Solution (EAS) with IBM's System Storage DR550 solution. This offering, which allows the companies to work together to help meet increasing customer demand for compliant media storage devices, will be launched today at Lotusphere in booth 723. Geoffrey Bourgeois, senior product specialist at ZANTAZ will present on Wednesday, January 25, in the ISV Solutions Theatre from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the show.
ZANTAZ EAS offers a fully integrated family of email and file management products which works with IBM's next-generation data retention solution. Through this product integration, companies can better address the new and changing regulations surrounding data capture, storage and management.
"By implementing ZANTAZ EAS, organizations benefit from a cost-effective, low maintenance solution, gaining control over their corporate assets and protecting themselves from litigation or possible regulatory fines," said Joe Romanowski, vice president of product strategy, ZANTAZ. "When customers select IBM System Storage DR550, they get all of the benefits of EAS, giving them a broader set of choices and management over the flow of information within their company."
ZANTAZ EAS software is a storage-agnostic solution that integrates with IBM's System Storage DR550. IBM System Storage DR550 can deliver a central point of control for both regulated data and non-regulated data. The solution incorporates IBM POWER5 servers which are designed for increased performance and speed of data storage. Using policy-based, non-erasable and non-rewritable disk technology, it offers increased power, ease-of-use and new security options.
