AUTONOMY POWERS HONG KONG'S YELLOW PAGES

Autonomy announces the launch of IDOL K2 powered yp.com.hk

Cambridge, England - 18th January 2005 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Hong Kong PCCW have launched their new IDOL K2 powered Yellow Pages site (yp.com.hk). IDOL K2 allows the introduction of more than 200 wizards featuring world-class search engine capabilities and functions that will ensure the best searching experience for local commerce.

The deal follows previous announcements that Autonomy was chosen to power both the New Zealand and Malaysian internet Yellow Pages. To win the contract, Autonomy beat FAST Search & Transfer ("FAST") as it did in Malaysia.
