Autonomy Makes Top 100 EContent List for 3rd Year Running

Cambridge, England, November 17, 2005 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that it has again been acknowledged by EContent 100 for its winning strategies and solutions which define the digital content industry. Annually compiled, the EContent 100 list highlights companies which have had a profound impact on the industry.

Autonomy is notable for its consistency, earning a place in the top EC100 for the past three years in contrast to many organizations that only make the ranking once. Autonomy's recurrent positioning in the EC100 is a real testament to its innovative and robust nature in such a dynamic industry. Handpicked by a global panel of judges, nominees were judged on their current standing, activities over the past year and respective impact on the digital content industry. The panel consisted of editors and specialists from EContent, KM World and CMS. Having selected the nominees, judges spent a month voting, debating and collaborating to determine the top 100 successful companies which matter most in the digital content industry.

"Autonomy's consistent ranking within the EC100 demonstrates how we remain at the forefront of the market" said Mike Lynch, CEO and co-founder, Autonomy "The enlargement of our customer base, employment growth, and continued profitability all indicates that Autonomy has successfully managed to retain its strong and durable market position. We are honored to receive this recognition."
