Meridio wins Partnership of the Year award

Meridio wins The Irish Software Association (ISA) award for Microsoft Partnership

Belfast, 14th November 2005

Meridio, a leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records management (eDRM) software, has been recognised by the Irish Software Association for the importance of its close partnership with Microsoft. Meridio was recognised in September 2005 as the fastest growing technology company in Northern Ireland. Meridio was founded in 2001 and its strategy from the beginning was growth based on technical and business partnerships. The primary partnership with Microsoft has allowed it to utilise a whole ecosystem which has been very successful. Headquartered in Belfast and with field operations in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Meridio has demonstrated success in generating significant revenue from highly competitive export markets.

Meridio develops eDRM solutions exclusively for Microsoft platforms and has grown quickly in the last five years with its rapid deployment, enterprise-wide information superiority solutions for both the public and private sectors. Meridio solutions enable organizations to integrate their existing information sources seamlessly and securely. Users can access the full functionality of the Meridio® solution via familiar Microsoft tools, maximizing adoption and reducing training overheads. Brian Baird, Meridio CEO said, 'By having the closest integration with Microsoft's technology, vision, channel and strategy, Meridio extends the Microsoft mass deployment model to eDRM functionality. Meridio employs its own global sales force to assist Microsoft and its field to offer a comprehensive ECM capability in true product partnership'.

Increased focus on export has resulted in business in some 20 countries and a growing customer base approaching 500,000 licences.
