SPANISH IT COMPANY INDRA SELECTS AUTONOMY FOR IN-HOUSE KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE

Cambridge, England - November 7, 2005 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L) a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Indra, the leading Spanish Information Technologies and Defense Systems company, has deployed Autonomy to power an in-house Knowledge Exchange on the company's intranet. The project will provide the company with first-hand experience of Autonomy's value for the enterprise, enabling Indra to convey this knowledge directly to its customer base.

Indra offers customers a complete range of advanced solutions and services, from consulting, integration and implementation of solutions to the outsourcing of information systems and business processes. As a specialist in the IT sector, Indra understands the importance of intelligent technology for the effective management of information in the enterprise. This is why Indra has chosen Autonomy's technology to enhance the exchange of knowledge and access to information throughout its business. The technology supplies Indra's employees with fast access to the latest marketing and sales information from numerous different repositories, which can be personalized according to individual interests and delivered directly into their accounts. Interests can be registered explicitly by the user and matching information can be delivered to them. Through Collaboration and Expertise Networks (CEN), employees can locate and contact experts in a particular field to exchange information, a facility which creates enhanced visibility in the organization and eradicates the duplication of efforts. In addition, Autonomy allows technical staff at Indra to identify related information trails within forums to continuously enhance their support services.

Numerous customers already benefit from Autonomy's technology. As Autonomy is renowned for its outstanding security and scalability and is used by world-renowned organizations such as the US Department of Homeland Security and UK Police Forces, the software is also of particular interest for Indra's customers in the defense and intelligence sectors.

José Ochoa, Indra Knowledge Management Leader, said, "As a Value-Added-System Integrator, the decision to deploy Autonomy in-house has been highly rewarding for Indra. We now experience the benefits Autonomy's technology brings to the enterprise on a daily basis, allowing us to pass this knowledge onto our customers with unprecedented confidence."

Emmanuel Meriot, Head of Autonomy Southern Europe, said, "Since inception, Autonomy has worked with an extremely successful partner program. We cooperate with the best companies all over the world to ensure that our customers receive the most qualified support from local experts. We are very pleased that in addition to joining our international partner community Indra has chosen to implement Autonomy's technology in their own business."
