ZANTAZĀ® Launches Expanded Data Migration Service for Customers Wanting to Upgrade to ZANTAZ Archiving and Compliance Products

Full-Service Offering Efficiently Moves Data to ZANTAZ Archives from Other Systems to Consolidate Archives and Provide Full Benefits of Integrated Information Retention and Discovery Management (IRDM)

Pleasanton, CA (October 25, 2005) - ZANTAZ, Inc., the global leader in Information Retention and Discovery Management (IRDM) solutions, today announced an expanded data migration service designed to move and consolidate data from other email archiving and compliance products to the ZANTAZ archive. Customers who purchase this service will be able to quickly use the trusted, proven ZANTAZ Digital Safe hosted or ZANTAZ EAS on-site products to solve their archiving and compliance problems. ZANTAZ migration services are available for all types of email management systems - both on-site and hosted.

"Many companies are discovering that the archiving and compliance products that they purchased in the past aren't fully meeting their needs - particularly when it comes to quickly and easily locating and retrieving data in response to discovery or compliance requests," said Joe Romanowski, vice president of Product Strategy at ZANTAZ. "By offering a straightforward, cost-effective means of consolidating multiple archiving systems, we are meeting customer demand for a simple, centralized repository of data that's easy to manage and search. We're also making it easy for them to solve problems related to scalability and performance with our switching program."

By upgrading to ZANTAZ products, customers also benefit by switching to a vendor who is integrating its archiving and compliance "information retention" (IR) products with litigation support and e-discovery "discovery management" (DM) products.

"Today, many organizations have some aspect of an information retention and discovery management solution. Unfortunately they are kept separate by organizational and technology barriers, and thus are not integrated for optimum efficiency," said Brian Babineau, analyst, Enterprise Strategy Group. "An integrated IRDM solution ensures that the entire discovery and case preparation processes are documented for chain-of-custody purposes, which lowers costs and exposure to risk."
