Verity K2 Developer Software Embedded In XyEnterprise's XML Content Management Application
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - July 19, 2005 - Verity Inc. (NASDAQ: VRTY), a leading provider of enterprise search software that enables organizations to discover, analyze and process all of the digital information within their enterprises, today announced that XyEnterprise, a major supplier of XML content management and enterprise publishing solutions, has upgraded to Verity® K2 Developer (K2D) OEM search, classification and recommendation software in its Content@ 3.2 XML content management application.
XyEnterprise offers content management and publishing software designed to enhance the dynamic creation, reuse, assembly, and single-source publishing of content and documents. Content@ 3.2 is the latest release of the company's powerful content and document management application that manages XML content and metadata, files and unstructured documents within the repository.
Verity K2D provides state-of-the-art search, classification and recommendation features that enable Content@ users to quickly and accurately retrieve content based on text, metadata or a combination of both using Verity's powerful query language. End-users can leverage the search results to find relevant content for incorporation into existing projects or they can automatically create a new project that will send relevant content to the appropriate users by way of Content@'s powerful workflow engine.
