VODAFONE EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH AUTONOMY

Cambridge, England - 9 May, 2005 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AUTN.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Vodafone, the world's largest mobile network provider, has extended its agreement with Autonomy to power efficiency applications across multiple territories.

Autonomy has previously entered into agreements with Vodafone in multiple territories.
