Meridio launches Electronic Records Management in Germany

Meridio expands business in Europe with the launch of Meridio at Cebit 2005.

1st March 2005 - Meridio Limited announced the further expansion of its business in Europe with the launch of the German language version of Meridio 4, its award-winning Records Management software, at Cebit 2005 and the opening of a new sales office in Germany.

Meridio develops EDRM solutions exclusively for Microsoft platforms and has grown quickly in the last five years with its rapid deployment, enterprise-wide, record management compliance solutions for both the public and private sectors. The launch of the German language version of Meridio is the first of several localized versions of Meridio to be launched in the next two months.

Dutch, Norwegian and Spanish versions will also be available shortly. Meridio customers include Statoil, ConocoPhillips, TNT, Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society and Lloyds TSB Insurance.

Nigel Hutchinson, VP Meridio, EMEA said "Enterprise-wide Document and Records Management is becoming an essential component of the IT infrastructure of organizations in every sector which need to implement robust technology to support compliance and information life cycle solutions. Meridio is now recognized as a leading Microsoft technology partner in these areas. Our research has shown that these issues are of increasing importance to German companies and we are very pleased to announce a significant investment in Germany with the opening of a new sales office and a German language version of Meridio. Meridio is completely focused on being the EDRM solution of choice for organizations using the Microsoft platform".

Meridio EDRM has been designed on the Microsoft .NET platform, providing the closest available integration with Microsoft Office System. Meridio enables organizations to integrate their existing information sources seamlessly and securely. Users can access the full functionality of the Meridio records management solution via familiar Microsoft tools, maximizing adoption and reducing training overheads.

Andreas Schulz, Product & Solutions Manager Information Worker, Microsoft Deutschland GmbH said, "Enterprise Document and records management is one of the technologies required by organizations in all sectors to support both the challenge of legislative compliance and the opportunity for business improvement that can be achieved through sound document life cycle management strategies. Meridio is one of Microsoft's leading global technology partners. We are very pleased to support Meridio as they expand their European operation and welcome this new focus and investment on the important German market."

Meridio has a 100% indirect sales strategy and works with a wide group of global and local system integrators. It is currently expanding its partner network throughout Europe.

The German language version of Meridio will be launched at Cebit, Hannover on Stand 042 in Hall 4 on the Microsoft Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Stand. Cebit 2005 runs from 10th - 16th March.
