Meridio launches Electronic Records Management in Spain

Meridio expands business in southern Europe with the opening of new office in Madrid and product launch at Documation Iberia.

Meridio has announced the expansion of its business in southern Europe with the appointment of Alex Canonero an experienced enterprise software professional, the opening of a new sales office in Madrid and the launch of its award-winning Records Management software at Documation Iberia.

Meridio develops EDRM solutions exclusively for Microsoft platforms and has grown quickly in the last five years with its rapid deployment, enterprise-wide record management compliance solutions for both the public and private sectors. The opening of the new sales office is part of the continuing expansion of Meridio's EMEA operation. Meridio customers include Statoil, ConocoPhillips, TNT, Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society and Lloyds TSB Insurance.

Nigel Hutchinson, VP Meridio, EMEA said "Over the last five years Meridio has emerged to become a driving force in the document and records management industry which, in the changing regulatory environments of government and commercial organizations, requires an enterprise-wide solution offering. This means that not only must EDRM products meet the very high specifications defined by industry standards and compliance bodies but they must also address the complex and ever growing regulatory requirements faced by organizations in every sector. Consequently, a critical success factor for those organizations striving to behave in a compliant manner is ease of use with the existing user applications at the desktop. Meridio is completely focused on being the solution of choice in all these areas for organizations using the Microsoft platform."

Meridio EDRM has been designed on the Microsoft .NET platform, providing the closest available integration with Microsoft Office System. Meridio enables organizations to integrate their existing information sources seamlessly and securely. Users can access the full functionality of the Meridio records management solution via familiar Microsoft tools, maximizing adoption and reducing training overheads.

Meridio has a 100% indirect sales strategy and works with a wide group of global and local system integrators. It is currently expanding its partner network throughout southern Europe.

Documation Iberia is organized by Reed Exhibitions and takes place on 23rd - 25th February 2005 at Palacio de Congresos de Madrid, Spain.
