ZANTAZĀ® Wins 12th Annual Intelligent Enterprise Realware Award

Company Receives Merit Award for Outstanding Enterprise Content Management Application

PLEASANTON, CA (December 21, 2004) - ZANTAZ, Inc., the leader in digital archiving, compliance and discovery management solutions, today announced that the company, in conjunction with its customer SEB Group, has won the coveted Intelligent Enterprise RealWare Merit Award for Best Enterprise Content Management Application for Records Management. The RealWare Awards, presented by Intelligent Enterprise and Transform Magazine, recognize innovative information technology solutions that transform business and enable the intelligent enterprise. Unique to the awards, customers and solution providers are jointly honored for their innovative execution of a business-driven IT solution.

"It is an honor to be recognized by Intelligent Enterprise for the outstanding implementation of ZANTAZ Exchange Archive Solution (EAS) with our customer SEB Group," said Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Craig Olson. "The RealWare Merit Award further confirms that our information retention and discovery management solutions are helping customers worldwide mitigate operational business risk, reduce costs and increase productivity."

ANTAZ and SEB Group, with ZANTAZ distributor Essential Computing, received the award for achieving their goals of lowering storage and administrative costs by archiving data from Microsoft Exchange, reducing the time to upgrade to a new version of Microsoft Exchange and easing the email management burden on 12,000 users with ZANTAZ EAS.

ZANTAZ EAS is the world's premiere solution for archiving email, IM, files and other electronic documents. With ZANTAZ EAS, organizations can create an efficient, searchable archive of email messages and files for Microsoft Exchange and NTFS File Systems that assists with the retention, management and control of corporate intelligence. The scalability of the EAS parent-child architecture, along with its robustness and flexibility, results in dramatic storage savings, improved productivity, and the assurance of meeting regulatory and legal requirements for records retention and retrieval.

"RealWare highlights the essential partnerships between IT solution providers, their customers, and service and system integration providers," said David Stodder, Editor-in-Chief of Intelligent Enterprise. "Such partnerships, like that between ZANTAZ and SEB Group, are the linchpin of achieving complex, business-critical systems."
