Ementor and Meridio agree on strategic Nordic agreement

Meridio and Ementor, one of the leading consulting, technology and outsourcing companies in the Nordic region, have agreed on a strategic Nordic reseller and service agreement. An already growing market for EDRM systems is expected to increase further, due to the necessity of complying with IT security and Governance demands.

The increased requirements from both regulatory and legislative demands are supported by the Meridio EDRM solutions, and the solutions are seamlessly integrated with the Microsoft information worker products. Compliance to standards like MoReq and Sarbanes-Oxley is expected to be increasingly important going forward. Meridio is approved against both the UK's PRO 2002 and the US DoD 5015.2 records management standards.

"Ementor's broad offerings, combined with the strength of the Meridio software to comply with Governance demands, will be a key for development of our current position in the Nordic marketplace. We are pleased with the opportunity to have a close cooperation with Ementor as one of the leading Nordic IT solution companies," says Nigel Hutchinson, Vice President in Meridio EMEA.

"Meridio is a central part of our Microsoft strategy, and we expect that businesses will have to implement EDRM systems to document that data is maintained and kept according to both legislative and corporate standards. The Meridio software, combined with Ementor's footprint in the market, is an excellent platform for growth," says Lars-Erik Johannessen, Vice President Consulting Nordic in Ementor.
